Small in size, big in meaning. These charming mini notes are hand-cut in a small Vermont workshop and celebrate one of New England's most beloved blooms — the purple lilac, first planted in Portsmouth in 1750 and named New Hampshire's state flower in 1919 after a spirited public debate.
Chosen for its hardiness and said to reflect the character of the Granite State, the lilac has been a lasting presence in New England gardens ever since. Slip them into lunchboxes, tuck them into gifts, or save them as little bookmarks. However they're used, each one carries a little heart in every note.
