When Sebastien Nobile discovered his passion for glassblowing in Paris, he uncovered something urgent alongside it: fewer than five professional glassblowers remained in the entire Paris region. A craft that had flourished for centuries was quietly disappearing.

He couldn't let that story end there.

Together with his wife Valentina, Sebastien founded La Soufflerie — a family-owned atelier and non-profit in Paris where every piece is handblown from recycled glass by skilled artisans, and every euro generated goes directly back to supporting the craftspeople keeping this centuries-old tradition alive.

Each La Soufflerie piece is entirely unique — handblown means no two are exactly the same. The color, the thickness, the subtle variations in form are the signature of the human hand that made it. When you hold a La Soufflerie glass, you are holding something that required skill, intention, and a genuine commitment to a craft worth saving.
